Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is Miami's premier contemporary and modern art museum, located in Museum Park on the waterfront of Biscayne Bay in downtown Miami. The museum building itself is a work of art — designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, it features a dramatic canopy structure with hanging tropical gardens that provide shade and create a seamless connection between indoor gallery spaces and the outdoor waterfront. The permanent collection includes over 3,000 works focusing on 20th and 21st-century international art, with particular strength in art from the Caribbean, Latin America, and the African diaspora. PAMM hosts major rotating exhibitions throughout the year, along with artist talks, film screenings, live performances, and family-friendly workshops. The museum terrace offers some of the best views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. Admission is free on the first Thursday of every month and every First Friday evening.
